A two-day training for public speaking about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender issues presented by SpeakOut Boston.

SpeakOut Boston has been offering Annual Speaker Trainings for over 15 years with a main objective being to train new speakers for our voluntary engagements. Training curricula includes:

• learning how to craft a story that reflects all your identities and challenges GLBT and other stereotypes;
• elements of public speaking including making fear, nerves and humor work for you;
• practicing your stories in a safe environment with supportive feedback;
• confidence-building and skills in responding to difficult questions.
